The Barrier Band is a patented one of a kind soft, breathable and adjustable fabric sleeve created by a nurse who wanted after many years of trying to help her patients feel more comfortable with their PICC lines and there components. Trying everything from cutting up socks to taping gauze around the lumens to create a barrier of skin protection which proved to be only temporary. This was product was developed with a single layer barrier design, the U shaped canal completely eliminates any discomfort and protects your skin while also providing full PICC/IV line coverage and securement with style. The U shaped barrier and adjustable toggle provides the perfect fit . Even with weight fluctuations and washing, our sleeve will never slip and will always fit perfectly.
