A “double hung” window refers to both sash having the ability to slide up and down for ventilation purposes, and these sash locks can fit on both model types, in addition to some left/right horizontal sliding windows. The locks are constructed of diecast zinc and come in a corrosion-resistant, industry standard, black-painted finish to match other existing hardware that may already be in the home or office.
